Step 1 - Apply for NEXUS
You must first apply for the NEXUS program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $50 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: NEXUS is a joint program between the U.S. and Canadian governments designed for travelers who frequently cross the U.S.-Canadian border.

After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the NEXUS program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your NEXUS interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for NEXUS. The next step is to schedule your interview at Sweetgrass NEXUS and FAST (SBX).

- Click on Sweetgrass NEXUS and FAST (SBX)
- Click on the "Chose This Location" button to see the available timeslots at Sweetgrass NEXUS and FAST (SBX)
Step 4 - Skip the NEXUS Interview wait time
You might notice that Sweetgrass NEXUS and FAST (SBX) is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
NEXUS interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: Arriving from the South on Interstate 15: Exit the interstate at Sweetgrass, Exit 397. Turn left (west) at the stop sign on the exit ramp. Drive west to the stop sign in front of the Duty Free Store, turn right (north). Drive north until reaching the next stop sign, approximately three blocks, turn right (east). Drive approximately one-half block and turn left (north). Park near the skybridge in the visitor spots allocated to FAST/NEXUS/Global Entry spaces. Enter the skybridge and follow the signs to the FAST/NEXUS/Global Entry waiting area. Arriving from Canada: Inform the Officer on primary that you have an appointment in the Enrollment Center. The Officer will direct you to park in front of the main building. Enter the building lobby, turn to the right, and walk until you must turn to the right. You may take the elevator or the stairs up one floor to the Enrollment Center waiting area.
Notes: Please bring all original identification and proof of citizenship with you at time of interview.
